Choreography is my means of creative
expression. I create nontraditional forms and
patterns with bodies in space. With my
dances I aim to help people see the body in a
fresh way and to have a heightened
awareness of movement. I hope that after
seeing my work people are more aware of the
incredible richness the body holds and that
they find new ways to see and appreciate it.
I prefer to show with all of its imperfections
exposed. I believe in dance as a form of
communication and hope that my art reflects
this. Communication builds connections and
making connections with other people can
lead to healing, laughing, understanding and
transformation. As with many current working
investigation and exploration of movement. I
aim to make dances that are accessible to
people outside of the dance community.

Dance is the relationship between music and movement...it is my sport, my connection to
physicality, the body's response to not only physical exertion but mental and emotional
exertion. There is a fine line between a whisper and a scream. Dance and choreography
allow me to express without words, without explanation, and without expectations. Dance
combines art and movement to make a fulfilling experience for me as the mover and the
creator.
