ARTISTIC STATEMENT
I believe that body awareness and intelligence is undervalued in our culture. The human body is complex and is a connection between us all. Dance to me has always been an art about the body with its physical limitations as well as the power of expression. Dance can be a way to get to those of us already involved in creating this art and hopefully those not involved to become more in touch with our bodies as well as empowered by them. I like to use dance to create different aesthetics, as a way to test limits physically and mentally, a way to express to others, and a way to involve others in non-veral communication.
